Commission Available (material is in stock): spectacular reclaimed old-growth California redwood using the same material used to build this conference table (pictured-sold). Fortunately, I have enough slabs (2.5 inches thick) remaining to construct one more eye-catching piece (up to 9 feet in length by nearly 50 inches wide). The story regarding the source of the redwood is nearly as remarkable as the original table: This redwood was salvaged not from the remnants of a stump in the great Northwest, but from a 125-year-old water tower disassembled in Alaska, Michigan. The tower supplied water for the steam engines passing on the railroad below during that bygone era. It is a great story that should follow the final table extracted from its remnants. build one final tabletop, approximately 8 or 9 feet long. The base is to be determined; I have ideas but welcome customer input.
This Redwood Desk was commissioned privately and crafted from reclaimed old-growth California redwood. The slab contains natural pockets of char, ash, and fire-related discoloration, giving it a strong sense of history. Its handcrafted form reflects the individuality found in custom tables.

This Box Elder table features a completely natural red-and-cream coloring across a two-tier design, measuring approximately 5.5 feet by 22 inches. The upper surface overlaps the lower tier, creating the layered form of a handcrafted live-edge console table. It sold within 15 minutes at a South Haven, Michigan, art fair about 12 years ago.
