1. Website Use

2. Product Information
Bartz Designs makes reasonable efforts to present accurate product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, availability, and pricing. However, natural wood varies in grain, tone, knots, edges, texture, and figure.
These natural characteristics are not defects. Screen settings, lighting, photography, and surrounding décor may also affect how colors appear.
Measurements may be approximate unless exact dimensions are specifically confirmed in writing.
3. One-of-a-Kind and Handcrafted Furniture
Many Bartz Designs furnishings are handcrafted from rare, figured, reclaimed, salvaged, or naturally shaped wood. No two pieces will be exactly alike.
Minor variations in color, texture, grain, edge shape, filled voids, and finish are expected. Wood may also respond to changes in temperature, sunlight, and humidity over time.
4. Orders and Availability
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. Bartz Designs may decline or cancel an order because of:
Product unavailability
Incorrect pricing or listing information
Payment authorization issues
Delivery limitations
Suspected fraud or misuse
Errors affecting the order
When an order is canceled after payment, the applicable amount will be refunded using the original payment method unless another method is agreed upon.
5. Pricing and Payment
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes, delivery charges, shipping costs, handling expenses, or other approved fees may be added during checkout or provided in a separate project quote.
Payment must be completed through an accepted payment method. Third-party payment processors may apply their own terms, privacy policies, and security procedures.
6. Commissioned and Custom Projects
Commissioned furniture begins only after the project scope, materials, dimensions, pricing, payment schedule, estimated timeline, and other relevant details have been approved.
A deposit may be required before materials are reserved or work begins. Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits may become nonrefundable once materials have been purchased or production has started.
Client-requested changes may affect the price, materials, and completion timeline. Changes must be approved before they are included in the project.
Natural variations in handcrafted custom tables, desks, mantels, shelves, and other furniture are expected and do not constitute manufacturing defects.
7. Shipping, Delivery, and Pickup
Shipping and delivery options depend on the size, weight, destination, and handling requirements of each piece.
Estimated timelines are not guaranteed arrival dates. Customers will be notified when delays materially affect an order. Federal rules generally require online sellers to ship within the stated time or, when no time is stated, within the period required by applicable law. Sellers must also address qualifying delays by seeking consent or issuing an appropriate refund.
The customer is responsible for providing:
A complete and accurate delivery address
Safe property access
Appropriate doorway, hallway, stairway, and elevator clearance
An authorized person to accept delivery when required
Additional charges may apply for redelivery, storage, limited-access deliveries, oversized items, stairs, or unsuccessful delivery attempts.
8. Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers should inspect the furniture promptly after delivery or pickup.
Visible shipping damage, missing items, or delivery concerns should be reported as soon as reasonably possible, accompanied by photographs and supporting information. Damage caused after acceptance, improper movement, unsuitable storage, environmental exposure, or unauthorized modifications may not qualify for a remedy.
9. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds
Return eligibility depends on the item and the circumstances of the sale. Commissioned, personalized, made-to-order, clearance, final-sale, or altered pieces may be nonreturnable unless required by law.
Customers should review the applicable return and refund terms before completing a purchase. Online shoppers should be clearly informed about total costs, expected delivery, refund conditions, return shipping responsibilities, and potential restocking charges.
Approved returns must be authorized before shipment. Returned items should be unused, undamaged, and properly packaged unless otherwise agreed.
Original delivery, shipping, handling, installation, or transaction costs may be nonrefundable where permitted by law.
10. Furniture Care
Customers are responsible for following the care guidance provided with their furniture.
Recommended precautions may include:
Avoiding harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners
Cleaning with a soft, dry, or lightly damp cloth
Using coasters, pads, and protective mats
Preventing prolonged exposure to moisture or direct heat
Limiting extended direct sunlight
Maintaining reasonable indoor temperature and humidity levels
Avoiding dragging, climbing, or placing excessive weight on furniture
Damage caused by misuse, accidents, environmental conditions, improper cleaning, or unauthorized repair is not the responsibility of Bartz Designs.
11. Intellectual Property
Website text, photographs, product designs, logos, graphics, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Bartz Designs unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, publish, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit this material without prior written permission.
